FilmGate Interactive is an Interactive Media Festival exploring how emerging technology, empowers the content of the future. We redefine the way we conceive and share our stories, together, democratically and inclusively, representing the diverse voices of our extended region. Over five days during Art Basel week in Miami, FIlmGate Interactive. we celebrate visual storytellers and supporting industries through screenings, exhibits, creative labs, master classes, immersive art installations, music, and live events.
FilmGate Interactive 11 will be from December 4th to 8th, 2024 and will take place in Miami, Florida. Since our launch, we have hosted over 200 fire and pool chats, labs, showcased the works of 400+ creatives, and co-produced 20 creative projects. Our programming is focused but not exclusive to the issues of our region that resonate globally: climate change, social justice, immigration, accessibility, and equality. We search for originality, innovation, and boldness, as we shape new roads for humanity.
WHAT: FilmGate Interactive XI (FGI XI) Is an Immersive Media Festival, that takes place during Art Basel week. We invite educators, technologists, creators, students, museums, ad agencies, cultural leaders and curious audiences to experience 15+ innovative immersive projects from Florida and around the world.
